The Zotto mattress is a 10″ all foam bed that uses 4 layers , three of which are patented foams for ideal comfort. The idea behind this mattress is to use innovative materials that take the best of memory foam and latex. This allows for the benefits of both without the drawbacks. Making a supportive and contouring surface with an ideal feel. The Zotto is has a universal medium to medium firm feel that will work for all sleeping positions.
Zotto Mattress Overview:
These hybrid foams offer the bounce and response of latex. The pressure point relief of memory foam. As well as the temperature regulation that comes from cooling gel. Making it a very balanced and adaptable bed as well as great at not retaining heat. The top three comfort foams work together to make a feel that isn’t too soft or too firm and works for all shapes and sizes. While the base foam creates dense support and durability.
The Zotto mattress is not only a technology driven mattress but also made in the USA. It comes with 100 night sleep trial and a 10 year warranty. As well as ships for free right to your door. Try yours today and start getting a great night sleep, every night.
Delivery & Unboxing:
The very first thing to do with your new Zotto mattress is take it out of the box and get it set up. It should show up right at your door and in a fairly compact box, for a mattress anyway. Getting it to where it needs to go may take two sets of hands.
It is 96 lbs and a little awkward to maneuver if your on your own. Once you get it to where you’ll be sleeping it should only take a few minutes to get it out of the box and take it out of the plastic and come to life.
During the unboxing process you might notice a bit of off gassing, but it should be very minimal. With most boxed mattresses there will be a little bit of smell once it is allowed to unroll and take shape, but this one is made in the US which helps tremendously with cutting down on any noxious odors.
It should be fine within a few hours but if you are more sensitive to certain smells letting it breath up to 12 hours would probably be a good idea. Also, this mattress will need a few hours to fully expand before sleeping on it. But should be good to go in no time.
Frames and Bases:
When setting up your new Zotto mattress it will need a foundation that provides a flat, even surface that will support the weight of the mattress as well as the sleepers. It also will need to be the right height for you as well as be aesthetically appealing. The Nolah bed would work great on a box spring with or without a frame, an adjustable base, a platform bed or slatted bed. The Zotto mattress combines three performance foams with different properties to compliment each other for the perfect feel and balance. This all foam mattress uses a comfort, hybrid support and transition foam layers. These foams work together to create an ideal, universal feel that appeals to a large range of sleepers and all sleeping positions.
These comfort layers sit on a solid, dense base foam that creates the core and foundation of the mattress. All these layers work in harmony to provide proper support and spinal alignment. As well as an optimal comfort and feel that is just hugging enough but still allows you to easily move around. This soft yet supportive mattress is considered a medium-firm feeling bed and will fall around a 5.5 to 6.5 on a scale of 1-10 (1 being the softest and 10 the firmest.)
The feel of the Zotto bed should be firm enough for stomach sleepers to have plenty of support without their back bowing. And still soft enough for side sleepers to easily allow their shoulders and hips to sink in. As well as ideal for back sleepers who need good lumbar support and just enough sink. Even a heavier person should find this mattress comfortable, however, it may feel more like a medium mattress if you are heavier.
The Zotto mattress is an all foam bed that uses hybrid foams that react much like memory foam. This makes for minimal motion transfer and a sleeping surface that works well for couples and lighter sleepers. The 4 layers of foams make up several inches of sound and vibration absorbing materials.
Sleeping cool is typically best done on either a mattress with coils. latex or a combination of the two. The Zotto uses several layers of foam with the top two foams considered “hybrid” foams. These specialty foams are engineered to mimic the best of memory foam and best of latex in one foam.
As well as utilize open cell technology to allow a place for heat to dissipate. These foams are also infused with ThermaPhase properties that react to temperature and regulating it. This ‘smart’ technology is supposed to react to your bodies needs. Whether you are too warm and need heat pulled away. Or if you are cold and heat needs to be redistributed.
In theory this sounds like a great concept. In reality when trying the mattress it slept very similar to most 10″ all foam mattresses. It didn’t necessarily sleep any warmer, but it didn’t sleep very cool either. It does a fine job for maintaining a fairly temperature neutral surface but if you are warmer sleeper a mattress that offers a coil system will help.
Like most 10″ foam mattresses the Zotto will have sufficient edge support for sleeping. However, the more durable edges for sitting will be lacking. Minimal sitting will be fine, but the perimeter is not meant to support a large amount of weight for an extended period of time.
Again though, sleeping and having a fully usable surface is key. And the majority of this mattress can be used when your weight is evenly distributed for sleeping. It feels consistent and makes for every inch to be utilized. So as long as you are not planning to spend a significant amount of time sitting on the edge of your bed, you should be fine.
