Delivery & Unboxing:
When ordering your new Tomorrow Sleep hybrid mattress you’ll be given two options for delivery. One being a free service that delivers your bed right to your front door. The other is the option to upgrade for a small fee to white glove delivery service. Making the process as simple as opening the door for you.
If you opt for the free standard delivery all you need to do is wait a few business days for your new bed to show up. Once it arrives you’ll need to get the somewhat heavy box to your bedroom. A second set of hands is helpful but not necessarily needed. Once you get it to your flat and even base just take the rolled mattress out of the box. Carefully cut the plastic away and watch it come to life.
During the initial expansion it will rapidly inflate, however it may take a few hours before it is ready to sleep on. An it will certainly take a good day or two for the foams to fully firm up. During this time it is a good idea to let the mattress air out as well. Like any new and compressed mattress there will be a bit of “new” mattress smell. Though nothing harmful or toxic with this USA made bed, sometimes the smell of plastic or brand new foams will hold an odor that will quickly dissipate. To speed up the process leaving a window open is helpful.
See how easy it is in our Tomorrow Sleep Hybrid mattress review unboxing video below!
Tomorrow Sleep Hybrid Mattress – Comfort:
The Tomorrow Sleep hybrid mattress comes in two comfort levels, medium soft and medium firm. The medium soft option provides a great combination of support and plush cushion. This option works great for side sleepers and back sleepers that like a slightly softer feel. This and is going to be best for people who like a supportive feel but with still a little extra softness.
The medium firm option is going to appeal to people who like to ride on the top of the mattress and more than likely sleep on their stomachs or back. It will also work great for the heavier person who needs more support too. Having these two options really allows you to find what will work best for you.
Regardless of which option you choose, the Tomorrow Sleep hybrid mattress will feature plenty of ergonomic support ideal for aligning your spine and back properly. It also utilizes several layers of comfort foams, including pressure relieving memory foam to contour and adapt to your bodies needs. Giving each mattress option the ideal amount of contour as well as just enough buoyancy to allow you to easily change sleeping positions. And all in all great balance for any sleeper.
Our Tomorrow Sleep Hybrid Comfort Experience:
For our Tomorrow hybrid mattress review, we slept on the medium firm option. We were very delighted with the comfort of this mattress and how it adapted to our sleeping needs. It is a very true medium firm feel but still had plenty of dense memory foam comfort. We would say it fell around a 6.5 on the firmness scale, with 1 being the softest and 10 being the firmest.
It has a great amount of sink and hug but is well supported by the coil system. If you like the feeling of a denser, more responsive memory foam with the benefits of a solid foundation and supportive core than you will like this mattress, especially in the medium firm feel. If you would like a little more of a plush feel than the medium soft option would be right up your alley.
Tomorrow Sleep Hybrid Mattress – Motion Transfer:
This mattress does have coils in it. However, each is individually wrapped and underneath several inches of quality foams. Each of these foams does a great job of absorbing vibrations and makes for very minimal to no motion transfer to be felt. This mattress is great for anyone who shares a bed because of this. There will be little disturbance when getting in and out of bed or tossing and turning. Even for a lighter sleeper.
While sleeping on the Tomorrow Sleep hybrid mattress we noticed great motion isolation. With sometimes different sleep schedules, a child who needs your attention and a dog that needs to go outside we certainly are able to test out the motion transfer. And this hybrid made for a perfect option to allow your partner to sleep even when you aren’t able to.
Tomorrow Sleep Hybrid Mattress – Sleeping Cool:
Sleeping cool on this mattress was not a problem at all and that definitely has something to do with the fact that it is well thought out and designed. Every material used in this Tomorrow Sleep hybrid bed contributes to keeping a comfortable temperature.
The top layer of memory foam includes thermic phase change cooling material. This helps to pull heat away from the body. There is also more responsive layers under the top layer of memory foam. These will help by allowing you not to be “stuck” in the mattress and easily move around and not build up heat. The coil system is always recommended for a warm sleeper because it will allow for plenty of airflow and any heat that builds up to release.
This mattress even has a ventilation system in the foam encasement around the coils. This is an extra step to ensure that the coil system is really able to do its job and dissipate heat while still allowing the benefits of having an edge stabilizing foam. Another factor that will play a part of sleeping cool is how much or how little you sink into the bed. The medium firm option is typically better for warmer sleepers because you sink in less and it allows for less of your body to be surrounded by foams. This mattress would be great for even the warmest sleeper.
Tomorrow Sleep Hybrid Mattress – Edge Support:
We found the edge support on the Tomorrow Sleep Hybrid Mattress to feel stable and creates a solid, edge to edge usable sleep surface. It has a dense, thick 3″ ventilated foam encasement that runs around the perimeter of the mattress to provide a solid, dense edge.
This mattress will feel consistent across the entire top and allow for a durable and sturdy mattress from every angle. The use of quality foams that are dense and even also add to the consistency and stable feeling of the edge support. The Tomorrow Sleep hybrid mattress has great edge support while sleeping and will even be better than most all foam mattresses for sitting too. Making it a great option for anyone who likes a perimeter that will hold up for the long haul.
Tomorrow Sleep Hybrid Mattress – Value:
This mattress comes in at $990 for a queen size and that includes free delivery, a 100-night sleep trial, and a 10-year warranty. That doesn’t even include our exclusive $100 off coupon, making this mattress only $890! Just use the code: OSG100 for the best savings.
In our review for the quality and comfort of this hybrid mattress, we find this price point to be a great value. It checked the boxes that make for a wonderful mattress and great night sleep. The focus on the detail and design of their mattress, as well as creating a full line of sleep products to contribute to a replenishing night’s rest, gives Tomorrow Sleep hybrid mattress an edge over so many other brands.
Materials & Construction:
The Tomorrow Sleep Hybrid Mattress is 10″ of comfortable foams and supportive coils. The medium firm option has 5 layers while the medium soft option has 4 layers. Each option has a 1″ top layer, the medium firm is 3.5lb density Black Diamond Memory Foam infused with a cooling phase changing material. The medium soft option has 4.8lb density Visco-Elastic Memory Foam also infused with cooling phase changing material. This top layer is great for comfort as well as contouring, it will also help pull heat away from the body.
Next both options have a layer of 2.5lb density Airy Memory Foam with Gel. The medium firm option has .5″ while the medium soft option has 2″. The medium firm option also has a 1.5″ layer of Bounce Foam under the airy memory foam. For both mattresses, these layers are great for bounce and responsiveness as well as pressure relief.
Under the comfort foams is the coil system. Both beds have a 6″ Pocketed 800 Series Coil System that will provide the support, durability, and foundation of the mattress. The gauge of the high carbon steel coil in the medium firm mattress is .083″ while the medium soft uses .074″ high carbon steel coil.
Around the perimeter of the coil system is a 3″ thick ventilated foam side rails. This encasement helps keep the edges stable as well as the coils in place. The foam is also aerated to help allow air to flow and heat to dissipate. Both mattress options sit on 1″ of Dense Base Foam that provides stability and a base for the coils and foams.
The Tomorrow Sleep mattress is covered in a soft, breathable cover that is aesthetically clean and crisp and matches the innovative and well-thought design.
