This pillow by Brentwood Home is a Zafu style meditation pillow. It is often used for prolonged seating position to provide proper spinal alignment and comfort for the hips and knees.

Buckwheat Yoga Bolster Pillow

The perfect pillow for adding support to your yoga practice wherever you need it.

This bolster pillow by Brentwood Home is about as tall as the meditation pillow, but with a longer rectangular shape. It features the same removable gray quilted cover. This is the larger of the two bolster style pillows of the Crystal Cove Yoga Pillows by Brentwood home.

Crystal Cove Pranayama Pillow

The Pranayama Pillow is a specific shape for a bolster pillow first designed for BKS Iyengar in the 80s.

If you are more flexible and a Zafu pillow is too high for your meditation practices, but you would still like an added boost of support, the Pranayama pillow is great for this as well. However this pillow can be used in a countless number of ways.

Pro Sleeping Tip: We also find it is a great sleep option for stomach sleepers who have soft bed that allow their hips to sink too far into their mattress.

Square Mediation Pillow:

The newest addition to the yoga collection by Brentwood Home, the Meditation Square. This is a lower, wider pillow that creates a wonderful base. You can use this pillow in many different ways to aid in your meditation and yoga positions.

We personally love it as a meditation spot. It is the perfect size for comfortably sitting and letting the worlds stresses melt away.

Materials

The Yoga Line of pillows by Brentwood Home all consist of the same materials.

Brentwood Home filled the interior of each Crystal Cove Yoga pillow with all natural buckwheat hulls. Which is a sustainable sturdy filling that is wrapped in a GOTS and OEKO-TEX Certified Organic cotton sack.

The cotton case used in these pillows is made from Texas grown organic cotton. While the Buckwheat all comes from North Dakota. Making these rather American yoga pillows.

Care Instructions

The outside covers are all removable for each pillow. The internal cotton cover contains the buckwheat hulls should remain unwashed or only ever spot treated as needed. While the cover is removable, they do not suggest putting the cover in a machine to wash, although it can be spot treated with warm water and a cloth.

If you find your yoga pillow begins to have a bit of a smell and needs some freshening up we have two suggestions for you. The first is to let the cover air out in a breezy sunny spot. Brentwood Home Yoga Pillow Collection: Overall

I love the weight that the buckwheat hulls give these pillows. The amount of fill they have alloys for just enough give to let the pillow conform and cradle your body while also giving maximum support. Our only disappointment would be the inability to machine wash the exterior cover. Although it is easy enough to spot wash and freshen up as needed.

Depending on your individual size and what you will need out of your pillows, you may find that you only need one, two, or all three of these pillows. (They do have a bundle options currently if you’re interested in all three)

Although the truth of the matter is that they are all incredibly diverse tools that can be used in any number of ways. If you’re a yoga enthusiast then the limit to what can be done with these pillows is purely up to your imagination. They are quality pillows that we highly recommend.
