This is a great pillow for anyone who loves the feel of a traditional down style pillow but wants to avoid down feathers due to allergies or ethical reasons. Nolah uses their own version of polyester fiber which makes their AirFiber fill for this pillow. It is light, fluffy, and makes for a very soft pillow.
Nolah designed the cover of their AirFiber pillow with a very specific materials called Outlast. This material was certified by The Space Foundation. It is used to keep your pillow from getting too warm as you sleep, as well as avoid getting too cold as well. Keeping you and you pillow the ideal temperature for sleeping all night long.

Is The Nolah AirFiber Pillow Comfortable?
The AirFiber pillow is a much softer feel than the AirFoam pillow from Nolah. The internal fill allows for the pillow to easily conform and change shape. This is a good fit for back sleepers that want to avoid having their pillow loft to push their head up. It is also a great feel for stomach sleepers as it does flatten out to have a very low profile to the pillow overall. Side sleeper will find that this pillow does not provide a lot of support overall, although if you prefer to really squish your pillow and bundle it up under your head, you may like this pillow. However, we would not recommend this option to side sleepers in general.
There is plenty of airflow throughout this pillow because of its AirFiber fill and breezy cover. Making this pillow great at regulating your temperature throughout the night. The Outlast cover does more than just wick away moisture, it helps to prevent you from sweating in the first place by evening out temperature fluctuations throughout the night.
Care Instructions:
In order for your pillow to remain comfortable and supportive for a long time, it is important to keep it fresh and clean. We make a point to take a look at the care instructions for a pillow whenever we write these pillow reviews. The Nolah AirFiber pillow is completely machine washable, which makes it extra easy to keep fresh and clean for a long time. They do advice avoiding bleach all together, using gentle detergent, and a gentle low temperature wash. Avoid any heat when drying as well in order to avoid potentially damaging your pillow.
The other AirFoam pillow from Nolah is not machine washable at all and the cover alone can be cleaned. Having the ability to machine wash your pillow is a benefit that many will appreciate. We do recommend washing your sheets regularly and using a pillow protector if you find that your pillow gets dirty rather often or stained easily.

Nolah AirFiber Pillow Review – Overall:
The cooling phase change fabric combined with the airy fill in this AirFiber pillow really does make for a cool sleeping pillow. This is going to be great for anyone who really has trouble staying a comfortable temperature throughout the night. The feel is fluffy and really squishes down nicely, which is going to make it best suited for stomach sleepers. Although some back sleepers and side sleepers may like it also if they prefer a low loft pillow. Overall, this is a great down alternative pillow. It is ideal for anyone who loves the feel of a down pillow and is looking for a hypoallergenic option.
