Materials & Design:

The star of the show here is truly the materials. Saatva made sure they didn’t just use any fabric for their weighted blanket. They wanted a 100% cotton velvet cover. This cotton is GOTs certified organic and is made sustainably. This cover is quilted in a beautiful diamond pattern in order to keep the internal weighted portion of the blanket evenly dispersed throughout the blanket.

The internal fill used in this blanket is all-natural glass beads. These beads create that even pressure that we all love from a weighted blanket. Saatva’s design for their weighted blanket is rather simple, yet effective. The diamond quilted velvet blankets come in two different sizes. The first is a single size weighted blanket that would work well on the couch, a twin size bed, or simply for individual use anywhere you like. This size is a 15lb option.

The next size up will fit nicely on a Queen or King size bed and works well for couples. This blanket size comes in at 25lbs which should work well for most adult couples. Keep in mind that with the size of the blanket, each individual will not have the full weight of the 25lbs on their person. Making it a more even and appropriate weight for most.

The Saatva organic cotton weighted blanket is definitely comfortable to use. The cotton velvet is super soft and cozy to cuddle up with.
